Autoclaves

Liquid sterilizers are used for the sterilization of various laboratory-related items such as plastic and metal tools, glassware, special garments, as well as more sensitive materials like biological material, containers containing liquids, laboratory waste bags, etc. The most common users of these devices are research laboratories, pharmaceutical laboratories, hospitals, clinics, and animal research labs.

The philosophy with which they operate includes the circulation of steam within the hermetically sealed chamber, reaching all points with steam that can range between 100°C and 139°C. The most common operating temperature at which 99% of microorganisms, microbes, and bacteria have been proven to be effectively neutralized is 121°C. This function has been proven to effectively sterilize all the above materials and items, and with the appropriate optional additions, it can be certified to accept materials of biological safety levels I, II, and III, or even IV.

Subsequently, kilns of this type differ in terms of the dimensions and capacity of the chamber, which can range from approximately 8 to 6000 liters, in the opening of the chamber door (horizontal-vertical), in the presence of door automation, in the method of steam supply to the chamber (tank or continuous water supply), in the way the drainage of "dirty" steam operates, etc.

The operation of these devices is usually regulated by a digital microprocessor, and they are equipped with state-of-the-art temperature and pressure sensors for precise and safe operation. They also have reliable protection and notification systems for cases of malfunctions or failures, while all the above functions are easily controlled by the user through a high-definition screen. In most cases, there are factory preset operating programs that meet the user's common needs, while at the same time, there is also the possibility of creating new operating programs with parameters almost entirely set by the user. The internal construction material is always AISI-304 stainless steel, just like the external one, often with electrostatic painting.
